Experience five signature twists on the classic cocktail from 3rd – 23rd September including tantalising flavours of passionfruit, marmalade, rhubarb and chilli.

Explore how you can get involved in Campari’s worldwide Negroni Week below.

First thing’s first, what is Negroni Week?

Between the 16th and 22nd September, bars and restaurants around the world will come together to celebrate the iconic cocktail. This is spearheaded by Imbibe and, the iconic red heart of every Negroni, Campari. The initiative supports Slow Food’s mission to foster a more sustainable world of food and beverage.

What’s the history of the Negroni?

The Negroni was created in Fosco Scarselli’s bar in Florence in 1919. Its namesake, Count Camilo Negroni, asked for a touch of gin rather than soda to his Americano to strengthen it. An orange slice replaced the usual lemon twist and the Negroni was born, set to become one of world’s most famous Italian cocktails over the course of a century.

The Perfect Negroni recipe

The recipe for a Classic Negroni calls for only three ingredients, but its delicious flavour profile is far from basic. Read on to find out how to make the perfect Negroni:

Tools:

  • Mixing glass
  • Bar spoon
  • Strainer

Glass:

Cocktail or double rocks

Ingredients

  • 1 oz. Gin
  • 1 oz. Campari
  • 1 oz. Sweet Vermouth
  • Orange twist to garnish

Stir ingredients in a mixing glass with ice, strain into a chilled cocktail glass (or ice-filled double rocks glass) and garnish.

Negroni Week at Revolución de Cuba

To celebrate Negroni Week 2024, we are launching a limited-edition Negroni cocktail menu from 3rd September. As well as the Classic Negroni, we’ll be serving four signature cocktails with deliciously fun and fruity twists (would you expect any different from The Home of the Fiesta?)

The gist is, these are not Negronis as you know them. Whether you opt for the subtle heat of the Spicy Negroni with Patron Silver tequila, Ancho Reyes Verde Chilli liqueur and El Bandarra White vermouth or the zesty punch of our Breakfast Negroni flavoured with Tanqueray
Flor de Sevilla gin, El Bandarra White, vermouth, passionfruit, marmalade (yes, marmalade), one thing all the Negronis have in common is the iconic flavour and colour Campari.

Check out the ‘Specials’ section of our Drinks menu from 3rd September here to explore all the cocktails, and book your table now to experience Negronis with a signature Rev de Cuba flair.
