Jamaican-inspired and island approved, we’re bringing a taste of tropical paradise with our new cocktail specials.

Featuring three rums born from the beating heart of the Caribbean, we just know these cocktails are guaranteed to seduce the senses and inspire the soul.

And to show you just what we mean, we’re introducing you to the flavour of these three exceptional rums – Appleton Estate, Wray & Nephew and Koko Kanu – retelling their stories and highlighting the cocktails they helped lovingly craft.

So sit back, imagine yourself taking a sip, and get ready to indulge. Because once you live the island life?

You’ll never look back.

Wray & Nephew Overproof rum

One thing’s for sure, this is so much more than just a spirit.

A staple in every Jamaican household, Wray & Nephew Overproof accounts for over 90% of all rum sold in Jamaica. And for good reason.

As central to the country as the black, green and gold of the flag, Wray & Nephew has infused itself into all aspects of Jamaican culture. It’s there at the rituals. The celebrations. The first tot of rum at the start the day. And really, it’s no surprise.

Wray & Nephew use a Caribbean saying, straight from yard, to describe their rum, yard being slang for back home. And when they say straight from yard, they mean it. Their overproof rum has been distilled in Jamaica for over 190 years, making it such an extension of the island that they are simply known as Uncle Wray to the locals.

And when it comes to the actual taste?

It’s safe to say Wray & Nephew is authentic to the core.

Flavourful, full of character, and at 64% ABV, with the most fiery nature. Beyond the initial heat, you’ll find a complex rum with pleasing flavours of caramel and nut garnished molasses emerging. As the palate continues to grow, expect notes of tropical fruit, passion fruit, and rich banana flavours to carry you straight to the Caribbean.

And with its full strength flavour, Wray & Nephew Overproof rum really shines when lovingly mixed into a cocktail, which is why we’ve made it the star of TWO of our Jamaican-inspired cocktails.

Our Ting Wray 2.0 (on the far left), may be small in stature, but certainly packs a punch.

Get ready for a taste of Jamaica with our sharp, sweet and punchy Ting Wray 2.0. With plenty of Wray & Nephew Overproof rum shaken with Appleton Estate Signature Blend rum and banana liqueur, lemon and Ting, this is about as authentically Jamaican as it gets.

And for dessert? It has to be our Layer Cake.

The perfect third course; our delicious Layer Cake cocktail.

With a generous pour of Wray & Nephew Overproof rum, banana liqueur and lime, loving mixed with our very own Strawberry and Pineapple Daiquiri, just one sip of this will take you away to paradise.

Appleton Estate Signature Blend rum

Exceptional rums travel the world, but they never forget where they came from. And this has never been more true than with Appleton Estate.

Nestled in the Nassau Valley; a unique, lush and fertile terrain located in Jamaica’s beating heart, the Appleton Estate has the distinct honour of being Jamaica’s oldest sugar estate and distillery, where they have produced wonderfully rich, aromatic and flavourful rums for more than 265 years.

And for that entire time, they have cultivated the natural, earthy ingredients that go into making each barrel of rum on the Estate – from the sugarcane they grow themselves, to the limestone spring that supplies their water, because the production of rum is not just a passion for Appleton Estate – it’s a craft.

Proof that it really does matter where your rum comes from, you better believe you can taste this kind of expertise.

Thanks to a delicious blend of 15 aged golden rums all combined together, Appleton Estate Signature Blend rum is a full-bodied, sweet and rich rum. On the palate get ready for perfectly balanced complex citrus, fruity and sweet notes, with subtle orange peel, dried apricot, fresh peach, and all the warmth, passion and unique spirit of Jamaica.

It finishes as serenely in the mouth as it starts and creates cocktails worth savouring. Again and again and again. And because we knew this, we made sure to add loads of Appleton Estate Signature Blend rum to our Appletiki.

Our delicious Appletiki. You won’t forget about this in a hurry.

Combined with Wray & Nephew Overproof rum, peach schnapps, passion fruit, pineapple, apricot and lime, the Appleton Estate rum adds a little soul to this mix, and makes it a very cheeky tiki that tastes just as good as it sounds.
