FoodEscape to Cuba: Our new food menu is finally here

It’s simple – good food is about pleasure. We all know that.

But what we also know, is that when food is really good, it’s about so much more than pleasure.

It’s about experience. Escapism. To a place that takes you places. For when you need to get away, but mainly when you don’t. Because you just feel like being somewhere else. And just because. Because the best places are worth escaping to. And the best places can be found right in front of you – on your plate, that is.

And now? We’ve travelled far and wide, explored every continent and talked to foodies across the world, to bring your our most exotic food menu yet.

Escape to Cuba and beyond, with indulgent Latin-inspired ingredients and a wealth of flavours… All designed to feed your wanderlust. Wanna see what we’ve got in store?

Pork and Clams

Pork and Clams

Inspired by the Alentejo region’s Porco á Alentejana.

In Portugal’s Alentejo region, this combination of pork and clams is a signature dish. Porco à Alentejana, as it’s known locally, marries sweet pork, salty clams and a massa de pimentão; a rich paste of roasted red peppers, garlic, and olive oil, diluted with white wine.

We serve our very own Pork and Clams with succulent chorizo, lightly fried potato and onion, topping the dish with crisp pork belly pieces and recommending a squeeze of lemon.

Tasting these flavours takes your straight to the vast arid landscape of southern Portugal, where the burnt orange ground is dotted with cork oaks and olive trees, and low, whitewashed houses stand in small knolls in the hills.

Escapism? At its finest.

Havana Crunch Salad

Havana Crunch Salad with Halloumi or Chicken. Texture is where it’s at with this one.

Cuban food, especially in Havana, is a celebration of world cuisine. A clichéd writer would call it a melting pot; an amalgamation of flavours from all corners of the globe. And we’d be inclined to agree.

For Cuban food combines ingredients, styles and cooking techniques quite unlike any other – and it’s that kind of mish-mash of culture we’ve drawn inspiration from for our Havana Crunch Salad.

You see, it’s all about the texture with this dish. Delicate, fresh spinach leaves, combined with finely chopped coriander and garden green peas that burst with flavour. Silky sour cream and smooth hot rum sauce, combined with the ultimate crunchy topping… crushed spicy mixed nuts.

And as variety is clearly the spice of life with Havana (another cliché for you), we’ve given you the option of adding smoky chicken or charred halloumi. Both very different, both incredibly flavoursome. Both making for a salad that’s simply not to be missed.

Quesadilla Burger

Our Quesadilla Burger combines classic Mexican and Stateside cuisine.

You might have noticed, but we don’t like to do things by halves.

In fact, we like love nothing more than taking something ordinary and making sure it leaves you a little bit speechless. And not just because your mouth’s full. So with that in mind, it’s probably time we introduced you to our latest Latin American creation.

We top our hand-pressed burger with mozzarella, hot chilli cheese, spinach, spiced sugar and salty serrano ham. And so you never have to choose between a quesadilla or a burger again, we’ve then squeezed all this goodness all this into one of our crisp tortillas… To make our Quesadilla Burger!

You can get a burger anywhere these days – but nowhere does ’em like we do. And nowhere has combined the flavours of Mexico and the USA, quite like this… Ever before.

Indulgent Desserts

Pineapple Cake, Chocolate Brownie and Chocolate Layer Cake. A sweet lover’s dream.

Got a sweet tooth? Then you won’t be disappointed by our brand new desserts selection.

From our classic Cuban churros, sugar-coated and rolled in cinnamon, to our decadent Chocolate Layer Cake made from light chocolate praline mouss… There’s something to tempt every taste.

Brand new is our tropical-inspired Pineapple Cake; a light vanilla sponge with juicy caramelised pineapple topping, coconut buttercream and pumpkin seed crumb. We serve ours with creamy coconut ice cream for even more cool.

And if you like a classic? Our rich Chocolate Brownie will always be there for you; drizzled with rum caramel sauce and served with vanilla pod ice cream, fresh strawberries and a sprinkle of basil sugar.
