Say Hola! to National Vegetarian Week, and trying something new.

From falafels to tofu, veggie sausages and vegan patties that taste just like meat, there is so much choice today when it comes to enjoying a vegetarian meal. In fact, it’s never been easier to enjoy a meat-free day once or twice a week.


That said, we know that sometimes it takes a little more encouragement for some to ditch their inner carnivore. That’s why this National Vegetarian Week we’re highlighting some of our delicious vegetarian dishes so you can give the veggie lifestyle a try for yourself.

At Revolucion de Cuba, we are big fans of Cuban-inspired dishes with BIG flavour – so read below to your new favourite dish.

Mushroom, Spinach & Courgette Enchilada

This absolute staple is made with soft flour tortillas stuffed with peppers, onions, refried beans, mushroom, spinach and courgette, all covered in tomato sauce, cheese and pico de gallo… And of course, served with our fresh house salad. Sounds delicious right? Rich in flavour and veggies so tasty you’ll forget it doesn’t have any meat in it.


Cauliflower Tacos

In case you didn’t know, cauliflower is a bit of an up and coming ingredient. It’s versatile, rich in vitamins and of course flavour. Our traditional-style tacos are made with feta cheese, smoky tomato salsa and pickled red cabbage. Perfect as a side to your main or when sharing tapas with your amigos.



We are incredibly proud of our Nachos. They’re topped with Manchego cheese sauce which gives you the perfect level of rich cheese. We then top the dish with our freshly homemade guacamole, sour cream, pico de gallo and of course, jalapeños.

You can choose one of meat toppings but before you do, we recommend trying the Jackfruit Chilli. Not only is it delicious, it also counts towards one of your five a day!




Jackfruit chilli Burrito Bowl

Talking of Jackfruit, we couldn’t forget our delicious Jackfruit Chilli Burrito Bowl; A burrito without the wrap. Pulled jackfruit, zesty rice, black beans, peppers, onions, cheese, sour cream and guacamole.

Fresh ingredients make this an iconic lunch dish, and one we think goes perfect with a warming Cuban coffee for a midday feast.
