Back to Havana: Rediscovering Our Roots.
Earlier this year, we hand-picked some of our rum-loving team to pack their bags and make a journey to where it all began; Havana, Cuba.
With a mix of our central Support Centre team and Managers from across the country, we went not just for the sunshine (though that helped), but for something far more important: inspiration.
For us, Revolución de Cuba isn’t just a name, it’s a story – and we’re turning the page to bring you it’s most authentic chapter yet.
The Spirit of Havana, Cuba.
From the buzzing atmosphere of El Floridita (you know the one, Ernest Hemingway’s favourite bar) to the iconic walls of La Bodeguita del Medio (perhaps the birth place of the Mojito… more on that later), we immersed ourselves in the heart of Cuban culture.
We wandered through San Jose Market, caught the sunset in Old Havana whilst witnessing the iconic vintage cars parked along the streets, we soaked up the rhythm at Club Tropicana, and stood in awe inside the Museo de la Revolución.
We even paid a visit to the Havana Club distillery; the beating heart of Cuba’s rum legacy.
What struck us most wasn’t just the places, the buildings or even the weather, it was the people. Resourceful, proud, sociable.
They don’t have much, but they make it count. That’s the Cuban way; do more with less, take your time, make it matter, and always make it joyful where you can.
It’s a way of life we’re bringing home with us.
A New Chapter for Our Cocktail Menu.
One of the first things to refresh? The drinks.
We’ve fine-tuned our cocktail menu by stripping out anything that didn’t feel quite right, and making space for traditional serves that reflect what you’d find in the bars of Havana.
Expect rich, rum-forward classics, and inspired by La Bodeguita del Medio we’re changing the way we craft our Mojitos. They’re now made exactly the way they should be – with all the mint, the freshest lime slices, and lashings of sugar, all paired with quality premium Havana Club rum, before being topped with soda.
To speed things up without compromising on flavour, we’re now proudly showcasing Mojito towers on our bars. An iconic visual reminder that for us, the Mojito isn’t just a cocktail. It’s a ritual. A fine craft, and a symbol of everything we’re about.
A Cuban Brand Reborn — Textured, Faded, Real.
This evolution is more than just what’s in your glass.
We’re moving away from the bold, poppy colours and patterns. Instead, we’re leaning into something more traditional; faded tones, rich textures, and a more grounded, soulful energy that reflects the real Havana: vibrant in spirit, but never over-the-top.
Our trip to Latin-American has reconnected us with what truly matters; live music, quality rum, exceptional service, and good times shared by all.
