Obsessed with Tacos? You’ve come to the right place! All day, every Sunday we’re serving you £2 Tacos. That’s right, your Sunday just levelled up. Get a taste of the history around delicious tacos & explore our very own carefully crafted flavors.

Back to basics

Lets start at the beginning… What are Tacos and where did they come from?

In simple terms, a taco is basically anything eaten on a soft tortilla, made with a variety of fillings. If we want to get more technical, the taco dish originates from Mexico in the 18th century, when the word taco was referred to as gunpowder that was wrapped in a piece of paper and inserted into rocks. Who would have thought back then it would become such a popular street food dish?

What makes it a taco?

The word taco comes from the Nahuatl’s “tlahco,” translating to “half” in English, describing the way the tortilla is folded around the filling and eaten by hand. Fillings can include beef, pork, chicken, seafood, beans, vegetables, and cheese but we believe our four flavors are the best!

Explore our flavors…

Like the traditional serving, each of our tacos come with two soft flour & corn tortillas. However, we of course had to give it a Revolucion de cuba twist so we’ve filled each taco with rum slaw, pickled red cabbage, coriander. The choice of toppings are:

Ginger Beer Chicken with Pineapple Salsa
