The prize draw is being run by Revolution Bars Group (Revolución de Cuba). The prize draw is open to entrants over 18 years of age. In entering the prize draw, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win. A maximum of one entry per individual is permitted. Entries must be submitted via @revdecuba Instagram page or they will not be counted. The prize draw is free to enter. Not in conjunction with Meta, Instagram or Facebook.
Daiq Shack Ultimate Fiesta Giveaway – Summer 2022
By entering the prize draw you are agreeing to these prize draw terms and conditions, in relation to the ‘Daiq Shack ultimate fiesta giveaway Summer 2022’
- The prize draw is being run by Revolution Bars Group (Revolucion de Cuba).
- The prize draw is open to entrants of 18 years of age or over (Employees of Revolution Bars Group during the competition period, are excluded from the draw).
- By entering the prize draw, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win.
- A maximum of one entry per individual is permitted.
- The prize draw is free to enter
- Winners will be chosen on the basis of skill, judgement or knowledge
How to enter
- The prize draw will include anyone who has commented on the post during the competition period (July to 27th July 2022) explaining an event that the entrant would like to use the Daiq Shack experience for. Entrants must also follow the social media account @revdecuba on Instagram, there is also an opportunity to get extra entries by sharing and tagging the @revdecuba account. This needs to be done by 12 noon on 27th July 2022. Entries after that time and date will not be counted and will not be included in the draw
The prize
- The prize will include:
1a; Hire of the Daiq Shack, including transport to a venue of your choice within mainland UK (excluding NI) arrangements to set up the mobile bar, and running costs for a duration of 2 hours only
1b; Up to 3 serves can be chosen from the list of the following: Frozen Strawberry Daiquiri, Frozen Pina Colada, Espresso Martini, Mojito, Paloma, Margarita, Fizz, Zombie, Long Island Iced Tea, we will also offer a soft drink alternative. Revolution bars Group reserves the right to change the list of included drinks at any time, drinks choices are offered on a complimentary basis and are subject to availability; if products are not available at the time of the event, a suitable alternative will be offered.
1c; Either 3 drinks vouchers will be given out to each guest at the event (maximum 100 guests), these vouchers can be used to redeem any drinks over the 2-hour period of fiesta experience
1d; Live music – Revolution Bars Group will arrange and book live music that is in keeping with the Cuban Fiesta theme, this will be an acoustic band of up to 2 members – optional, you can choose not to take this.
1e; Two dancers will be booked by Revolution Bars Group, these will be dressed in Cuban fiesta style for 2 hours during the experience – optional, you can choose not to take this
1f; Memorabilia includes the 1 ‘Lei’ per guest, up to 100 guests – optional, you can choose not to take this
- The maximum number of guests that can be catered for is 100, should numbers be greater, this can be agreed at an additional cost per person, there is no cash or other compensatory alternative for smaller guest lists
- All event arrangements will be subject to alcohol licensing laws in the UK including but not limited to number of drinks served per person during a certain period. Event arrangements will also be in compliance with the event/site/venue owners of the event space.
- The experience will last 2 hours from the pre-agreed start time.
- The winner will be chosen on the basis of skill, judgement or knowledge – there is a need to fulfil our minimum entry requirements
- The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternatives will be offered
- We reserve the right to substitute prize with another prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond our control make it necessary to do so
- The decision of Revolution Bars Group regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it
Winner announcement
- The winner will be notified after midday on 27th July 2022 via direct message to the account that entered the comment/followed on social media (Instagram).
- Revolucion de Cuba will attempt to contact the winner by email up to two times. If the winner does not respond to the emails notifying them of their win within 14 days of the second direct message, they will lose their right to the prize, and Revolution Bars Group reserves the right to choose and notify a new winner.
Receipt of the prize
- Please allow time for arrangements to be made through mutual agreement.
- Revolution Bars Group agrees to organise the Daiq Shack requirements to include set up with your chosen venue (details of event provider will need to be shared with adequate notice), cocktail menu, serving of cocktails, booking live music and dancers, plus ‘memorabilia’.
Data protection and publicity:
- You consent to any personal information you provide on entering the prize draw to be used by Revolution Bars Group for the purposes of administering the prize draw, and for those purposes as defined within our privacy notice.
- All entrants may apply for first name and location details of the winning participant by contacting us at marketing@revolutionbarsgroup.com
- The winner agrees to the release of their first name and location to any other prize draw participants if requested via Revolution Bars Group.
- An announcement of the winners first name and location will be made via Revolution Bars Group digital platforms.
- All personal information shall be used in accordance with Revolution Bars Group Privacy Notice.
- By redeeming this prize, the winner consents for photography and video based content to be captured at the event and for any images obtained to be used in Marketing materials created by Revolution Bars Group, this includes but is not limited to content created for websites, social media, blogs, email or printed materials. Guests to the event that do not wish to be featured in Marketing materials should make themselves known to the Revolution Bars Group team either before the event or on the day and every effort will be made to exclude guests from publicity materials.
Limitation of Liability
- Revolution Bars Group does not accept any liability for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrants as a result of either participating in the prize draw or being selected for a prize, save that Revolution Bars Group does not exclude its liability for death or personal injury as a result of its own negligence.
- Revolution Bars Group reserves the right to cancel the prize draw or amend these terms and conditions at any time, without prior notice.
- The prize draw and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
