Plant a Tree with Absolut
This Christmas, we’re working with our amigos at Absolut on their Plant a Tree campaign. With the help of their partners Ecologi, Absolut will plant a tree for every Liquid Gold Martreeni sold at Revolución de Cuba over the festive period.
Trees will be planted by local farmers and villagers around the world and each mangrove tree planted removed approximately 0.3 tonnes of CO2 from the atmosphere over its growth life of approximately 25 years – equating to an estimated 0.012 tonnes per year.
Ecologi is a platform for real climate action and facilitate the funding of the best climate crisis solutions and tree planting around the world. Their partnership with Absolut contributes to their mission to deliver a more sustainable Christmas, and we are so excited to be involved.
Book now to get your Liquid Gold Martreeni between 7th November and 1st January and support this fantastic initiative.
Music Fund for Cuba
As if you needed another reason to try our festive cocktail specials, we’ll be supporting the Cuba’s cultural and music programmes for children by donating 50p to the Music Fund for Cuba from the sale of every Cherry Christmas cocktail.
The Music Fund is the only UK registered charity working in Cuba to support the music and arts. It aims to nurture the talents of children and young people by supporting creative and cultural programs on the island.
They support projects of all sizes, for example, the charity have donated strings, reeds, musical instruments and craft materials to arts and special needs schools, ballet shoes for dance students, published a book to help Cuban music teachers in their work and provided state of the art recording equipment for the University of Havana’s music department.
